Where to Shop (other than the big box stores)

Yes, you can buy firearms online. There are numerous sites where you may find deals from time to time. The catch is that they need to be shipped to a local federal firearms dealer (FFL). If you contact a place like Cabela’s or Gander Mountain they will charge you somewhere between $50-$100 for the transfer fee.  For most of us that would mean less to spend on a new toy. I have the solution, keep reading.

One place to look online for deals is http://slickguns.com.  Their motto is “Best deals on guns and ammo posted by users”.  I’ve found a few really good deals on their site.

There are lots of other places out there to buy from. http://jgsales.com and http://www.aimsurplus.com/ come to mind to start with. Be sure to check them out especially if you have a C&R license.

MJ Gun Shop:

MJ Gun Shop

A new store that just opened October 2015. Offering sales of new rifles, shotguns, and handguns, as well as consignment, ammo, special order, and gunsmith services. I’ve known the owner for years. Great guy! If you see a price lower, give him a chance to match it. Support a local shop so he can be there for years to come when you need a repair or a special order.

Eisen Arms LLC:

Eisen Arms LLC

Once you have you firearm picked out online, you need a local FFL to do the transfer. In the West Bend, WI/Washington County area, consider Eisen Arms LLC. You can find them online at http://www.eisenarms.com or via email at EisenArmsLLC@Live.com

Eisen Arms has a few firearms available for sale, but the best part is that they also do transfers at a very reasonable price. Fees include all paperwork and background check.
